careadvice4u was born out of adversity and based very much on practical experience. The proprietor had to deal with finding care for his elderly and very ill mother. Rapidly it became apparent that there was little impartial advice out there and despite the promises of health authorities, councils and private companies the amount of independent one to one assistance was limited. This was mostly due to a lack of time and resources available to the public bodies and limited options from private companies due to how they were funded. There are good charities who provide real support but because they are limited in what they can offer in this particular area they can only signpost methods of help.....more
The proprietor vowed to provide something better for others, to give a truly impartial view of care, nursing and residential homes, views provided by those who have been in similar situations and who can give a honest assessment of what they have seen and experienced....more
The reviews on careadvice4u are the genuine assessments of others - there is no pressure to provide a slant and while reviews are subjective it is hoped that they will help others to take away some of the guess work and worries caused from making these very important decisions for your loved one.
